چکیده

This work is dedicated to the study of properties perovskite ceramics based on lanthanum–strontium ferrite, and evaluation their resistance long-term thermal aging. As a method for obtaining ceramics, solid-phase mechanochemical grinding consequent annealing resulting mixtures was chosen. The novelty consists in assessment phase transformation dynamics ferrite-based relation temperature, alongside effect composition high-temperature aging, which characteristic operating modes these as materials solid oxide fuel cells. To properties, methods scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive analysis, microscopy were applied. Pursuant outcome elemental it established that no impurity inclusions appear ceramic structure during synthesis, growth temperature results into decline grain size density. During analysis acquired X-ray diffraction patterns, found above 500 °C transformations LaFeO3/SrFe2O4 → La0.3Sr0.7FeO3/LaSr2FeO8/La3FeO6 type, followed by structural ordering deformation distortions with temperature. An conductive has dominance La0.3Sr0.7FeO3 conductivity resistance. Life tests degradation have shown three-phase rate amorphization significantly lower than two-phase ceramics.

Intercalated Nanocomposites Based on High-Temperature Superconducting Ceramics and Their Properties

High temperature superconducting (SC) nanocomposites based on SC ceramics and various polymeric binders were prepared. Regardless of the size of the ceramics’ grains, the increase of their amount leads to an increase of resistance to rupture and modulus and a decrease in limiting deformation, whereas an increase in the average ceramic grain size worsens resistance properties. The SC, thermo-che...

Ultra High Temperature Ceramics: Densification, Properties and Thermal Stability

Hypersonic flights, re-entry vehicles, and propulsion applications all require new materials that can perform in oxidizing or corrosive atmospheres at temperatures in excess of 2000°C and sometimes over the course of a long working life. Ultra High Temperature Ceramics (UHTCs) are good candidates to fulfill these requirements. Within this family, the ZrB2 and HfB2 based composites are the most ...
